I was out in the backyard the other day getting ready to mow the yard and saw these wild strawberries growing by the back porch.

Here's another view of the Tennessee river about 30 miles north of Lady Finger Bluff. This is an overlook just North of Rockport Landing where during the Civil War a Federal gunboat named the W.C.Terry, a steamboat, was captured and sank. It is said that for years its twin smokestacks could be seen at low water times protruding above the river. Too bad you can't see them now, it would make a great site to see. But anyway it is a beautiful view from the overlook today.

This little guy visited our Azalea bush the other day. It was just too pretty not to try and get a picture of it. It took several tries, but I finally got a good picture of him close up. I love my macro lens, now I can get close up.

Took this Sunday when my wife and I made the 2.7 mile hike up to Lady Finger Bluff in a local state park. We're about 75 feet above the Tennessee river looking into west Tennessee. It was a beautiful day.

I'm not sure whether this is a small tree or a large bush, but I"ve never seen one like this. So when I saw it yesterday working I made sure I took my camera out there today and took a picture of it. I pasted a picture of the blooms in the right hand corner so you can see them better. The flowers on it look like carnations. But I really don't know what it is. If anyone knows please tell me, my wife and I'd like to know. Maybe we could plant one in our yard also.

I was working yesterday with a client of mine when I saw this and luckily had my camera with me. It's a slightly curved driveway to a house lined with these different colored tulips. They looked so good I took several pictures of them from different angles.

My wife and I came across this massive Wisteria vine growing all over this part of the woods today. This picture really doesn't do it justice. I tried to enchance to color to show it up as good as it did in real life. In the corner I inserted a close up of them. There were bumble bees all over it. It smelled good too with the wind blowing it's fragrance all around.

This small orchid was growing in the middle of a small creek. I stradled the creek to take a close up of it.

I've been waiting for this tree to bloom out this spring. It's always pretty in the sun.
